About
Jessica Kuhn is an artist and curator whose practice interrogates systems of perception, authorship, and value through replications and disruption. Working across performance, installation, readymades, and video, she constructs context-specific interventions that blur the boundaries between artist, artwork and viewer.
Her work often takes the form of open-ended questions—designed to challenge assumptions often softened by a sense of humour. With roots in Kazakhstan and Russia and raised in Germany, Kuhn brings a cross-cultural sensitivity to her investigations of identity and the experienced nonsensicality of life.
She is currently based in Amsterdam.
